Every Sunday at the end of the worship service we sing that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Those are life-changing words! If we read God’s Word and apply it to our lives then it will guide us and help us to walk in the light. If you have ever walked in the dark, you know how painful it can be to bump into something because you did not see it. God’s Word can help us avoid Satan’s traps
Last Sunday in Junior Worship we talked about King Josiah and how it was during his reign in Judah that the Law, which had been missing, was found. It was read and immediately applied as Josiah ordered that all idol worship cease and anything used for idols be burned. Naturally, a revival occurred. Let me connect the dots...get into the Word!
Believe was an incredible trip because of this truth! This year’s theme was “The Word Tour” and it challenged the 3000+ jr. highers in attendance to dig deep into the Word of God by reading and memorizing it. The message was clear, any other pursuit is like drinking sand!
Sunday Knights Bowling All 1st-5th graders and their parents are invited to go bowling on Sunday afternoon March 4. We will enjoy a chicken tender lunch at the church right after Sunday school and then head to Strike-n-Spare for some bowling. We will return to church by 3:30 pm. Cost is $10 or $20 for a family, please sign up by Leap Day (Feb. 29). There is a sign up on the bulletin board or you can send me a message!
LSCA is more than just a place to play volleyball! This summer it will be a place where lives are changed! Be sure to check out their website at lscacamp.org and plan for your school-aged child to attend a session! CCC will pay 50% of all CCC camp registrations because we believe it is a great investment!
