You may not realize this but I am adopted. Not in the traditional sense, but thirteen and a half years ago a little five year old girl adopted me as Daddy. She chose not to call me “Daddy” until we were married, but when she did she said it with excited eyes and a wide grin that I will never forget. Her eyes and her smile have often made me wish that I would have known her for the first five years of her life, but I am crazy blessed to have known her and loved her and have been loved by her since. I am really not sure how to be more proud of her. And I will never forget the day she chose me as Daddy.
Kierra graduates high school in a couple of weeks, but we want to invite you to celebrate her graduation with us this Saturday, May 25th from 3 pm til we shut it down. Hope you can make it!
Finale Recap Sunday night was simply a lot of fun. We had over 60 skaters come out to Skateland South and end our Sunday night programming year on wheels! Aside from some minor bodily and ego bruises, everyone was able to walk out of the door in the same manner they walked in (upright)…that’s a WIN in my book! Once again a big thanks to all who came out and especially to all of our youth sponsors who gave their time so freely to teach our kids!
