Bible Studies
The Men's Thursday night bible study group is taking a break for the summer. We will pick up again this fall.
Ecclesiastes

The flyleaf on a commentary on Ecclesiastes puts it this way:

“Some people think that Ecclesiastes is about the meaninglessness of human existence. This perspective is not quite correct, however. Ecclesiastes is really about the meaninglessness of life without God. But because the writer never gives up his belief in God, his ultimate purpose is to show us how meaningful life can be when we see things from God’s perspective. His message is not that nothing matters, but that everything does. As you study Ecclesiastes, you will learn why.”

Everyone is invite to join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 as we meet around the ping pong table in the Jr. Worship room to study together. This year’s study on Ecclesiastes will give us a very realistic look at life, and the key to making sense of life under the sun.

If it’s Thursday, there’s still time to make it to the first ladies’ poolside reading club meeting at the Huber pool tonight at 7:00. Tonight the ladies will be discussing “The Priest”, from Sons of Encouragement by Francine Rivers.

Even if you don’t have the book, feel free to come and enjoy the fellowship.
